Come out and support the Buckeyes and get fired up for the State Championship Game Friday in Arlington at Cowboys Stadium.



First, turn out at the GHS Gym Thursday at 6 p.m. for the pep rally. The theme is "Buck Dynasty" and everyone is encouraged to wear camouflage.



Then come to the Square for the Sendoff Friday at 8 a.m.



Downtown businesses (and anywhere else, for that matter) are encouraged to show their support by decorating their storefronts.



Finally, if at all possible, follow the team to Arlington. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME






The Gilmer Buckeyes will face off against the Navasota Rattlers on Friday, December 21st at 4:00pm. Advance tickets may be purchased through Thursday at the Administration building. Advance tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets at the gate will be $15. Parking at the stadium will be $10 per vehicle.



Everyone will require a ticket, regardless of age. Tickets are good for all games being played in the stadium on 12/21/12, although they are good for ONE ENTRY ONLY. If you leave the stadium between games you must pay to re-enter.



Air horns are not allowed in the stadium. Other noisemakers are allowed. Tickets purchased from the school are good for entry through Entry C and Entry H only.



Students will be released for the Christmas holiday at the end of day on Thursday, December 20th to allow staff, students and supporters to arrive safely to the game.

Note: All game patrons are strongly encouraged to utilize Cowboys Stadium parking, because ticketing/towing is heavily enforced in the surrounding commercial areas.
  • If you're coming to support a designated home team, look for parking within Lots 4-13. The home team will be on the South Sideline.
  • If you're coming to support a designated visitor team, look for parking within Lots 1-4 and 10. The visitor team will be on the North Sideline.
  • Fans are welcome to park in any of the Cowboys Stadium lots open for $10 public parking; however, the areas mentioned above should put you closest to the sideline of your team.
  • Parking Lot hours: December 14 parking lots open at 5:30pm. December 20-22, parking lots open at 10:00am

Ticket information

Tickets are now on sale for the Class 3A Division II Semifinal between the Gilmer Buckeyes and the Graham Steers at Vernon Newsom Stadium in Mansfield.

Sales continue Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at the Gilmer ISD Administration Building, 500 S. Trinity in Gilmer.

Each ticket is $7 for adults and $5 for students. Gates will open at 6 p.m. All tickets at the gate will be $10.

Gilmer is the home team. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday night, Dec. 14.
