"Meet the Buckeyes" is an annual community pep rally held at Jeff Traylor Stadium on the campus of Gilmer (Texas) High School to get fired up for the fall sports and generally celebrate being Buckeyes.

Meet the Buckeyes, the annual community pep rally in support of Gilmer High School fall sports and other extracurricular activities, will be held at Jeff Traylor Stadium beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 10. If you are a member of the Army of Buckeyes, you must be there!

Every year at this time the players, such as the one seen in the bottom photo walking up Kaufman St., in the Gilmer Buckeyes football program venture out into the community to sell these discount cards for $10 each. All proceeds go to the Gilmer Athletic Booster Club.
