Etex Cable will also carry the livestream of the Buckeyes games on two of its channels

Etex Cable will be telecasting the Gilmer-Gladewater game and all other regular season games live on Channel 1 and digital HD Channel 601. In addition, you can stream the game live by going to gilmerbuckeyes.com  or to the Gilmer ISD Vimeo Page . A decision will be made between noon and 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon as to whether to go ahead with the scheduled 7 p.m. kickoff Thursday night of the game or whether it will be postponed due to the tropical weather system moving through the area.

Buckeyes will have only one scrimmage

The University Interscholastic League has limited all football teams to one scrimmage under its new guidelines, so the Buckeyes will not play their first scheduled scrimmage against Kilgore. The one scrimmage will take place on Friday, Aug. 21, against the Terrell Tigers at Jeff Traylor Stadium here. Varsity scrimmage is tentatively scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
