Joe Dodd, who has spent the past five seasons as the beat writer covering the Gilmer Buckeyes for The Gilmer Mirror, has informed us that he has “too much on his plate” in his professional life these days to continue in that role.
It is impossible for a single person to replace Joe. So The Mirror will be relying on three people to try to fill in the gaps, so to speak, for him. Elwyn Henderson will cover the games, W.R. Greene will preview the games and Mary L. Kirby will continue to photograph the games and may also be called upon to contribute articles, as well, as she already has been doing during the off-season.
