Season tickets go on sale August 24-25

by PHILLIP WILLIAMS

Season tickets for the Gilmer Buckeyes' varsity home football games in 2017 go on sale for current season ticket holders Aug. 24-25, announced GISD Secretary Judy Moore.

Sale hours at the school administration building, located at the intersection of Trinity Street and Warren Avenue, are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., she said. For the season, orange seats are $60 each while railback seats are $48 apiece.

Season ticket holders wanting to relocate from their current seats should purchase the tickets they have now and exchange them on "swap night," set for 6 p.m. Aug. 29 at the administration building.

Public sales of season tickets which are not purchased by existing ticket holders are set Sept. 5-9 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the same location, Moore said in a press release.

Gilmer's opening home varsity game is homecoming against Liberty Christian on Sept. 15. The Buckeyes play road games at Liberty-Eylau and Center prior to that.

There are also many toxic compounds and several of the substances are downright poisonous. Early Greek docs would skin the buckeye and boil the endosperm, producing a brew that was taken internally. Most often, just as the case may still be today, the cure inevitably turned out to be worse than the disease. So now, we see that the buckeye is poisonous. We also b...
