The initials in Gilmer Buckeyes quarterback G.J. Kinne's name must stand for great job.
Kinne exterminated the Mineola Yellowjackets Friday night, flinging three TD throws and hoofing for another score as Gilmer triumphed, 62-12.
Kinne completed 12 of 22 passes for 237 yards in the District 15-3A mismatch. Meantime, Gilmer running back Justin Johnson trodded for 156 yards and three TDs on only nine deliveries.
Gilmer's Devane Clark snagged there passes for 113 yards and a TD, all before halftime.
Ironically, two Mineola runners churned out more than 100 yards each in a 50-point loss.Ray Martin, who scored on late TD runs of 33 and 59 yards, gathered 132 yards on 16 carries.
