GISD Foundation Plaza Brick Ceremony to be held on Oct. 16

The Gilmer ISD Foundation Plaza is a prominent campus landmark at Gilmer High School, located just inside the home entrance of Buckeye Stadium.

Engraved bricks can be purchased for yourself or in honor or memory of a loved one. Bricks are available for $100 each in the outside area of the Plaza, and $200 each in the Buckeye-shaped area in the center of the Plaza. Funds raised from the Plaza support Gilmer ISD Foundation projects such as educational grants and scholarships.

The fourth annual Gilmer ISD Foundation Plaza Brick Ceremony will be on Oct. 16 before the home game against Chapel Hill. All brick orders must be in by Oct. 9 for anyone who would like to participate in this year’s brick ceremony.

To purchase your brick, stop by the Gilmer ISD Administration Building for an order form or email Dolly Robison at jtanddolly@yahoo.com.
