EVEN THOUGH the Gilmer Buckeyes have not even clinched a playoff berth yet out of the “District of Doom,” the undefeated and state-ranked team controls its own destiny and can win its 10th district championship in the last 11 seasons with a win over the Henderson Lions here Friday night.
