Offense:

Cadon Tennison played extremely well 13/25 passing. Jaden Edmonds passed 6/15, and Chris Guillen passed 5/15. The Buckeye QB’s passed for 199 yards, and 2 TDs

Ashton Haynes rushed for a 5-yard touchdown. Will Henderson rushed for a 64-yard touchdown. Alec Sims rushed for a 30-yard touchdown. Michael Colbert, and Ke’vion Brinkley also had multiple carries for the Buckeyes.  

The Buckeye receiving core was made up Rohan Fluellen, Tyson Wilson, De’Marion Hackett, Amarian Hamilton, and Omero Orona. Rohan Fluellen and Amarian Morton had two touchdowns on the night.  

The Buckeyes totaled up 412 yards of offense and 5 touchdowns. The offense had 9 first downs on a total of 33 plays. 

Defense:

The Buckeyes “Black Flag” defense held the Gladewater offense to 62 yards rushing on 31 total plays. The defense held the Bear’s quarterback to 5 completions on 13 attempts. Braeylen Ward, Eliez Castillo, Connor Dunn, Dillon Henson, Shawn Wallace, and Aaron Bell had multiple tackles for the Buckeyes. 

Michael Colbert had one interception against the Gladewater offense. Connor Dodd, Omero Orona, Dillon Henson, and Jamar Bryd had multiple pass break ups for the defense.

The nutlike seed, found abundantly on shrubs here in East Texas, first got its notoriety as a curative agent from the Greco-Roman culture. Their god of medicine was Aesculapian. Ticket information

  Tickets are now available to purchase online for our home game against Pine Tree this Friday. Go to gilmerisd.org and scroll down to “Box Office”. General Admission tickets are $8. Student tickets are available until noon on Friday for $5. Tickets will be sold at the gate (cash only) for $8. No student tickets will be sold at gate. Orange cards will be honored!
